Feeding Queens, Building a Movement

And as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your contribution is tax-deductible.

Since 2020, Connected Chef has distributed over 4.3 million pounds of fresh, quality produce across Queens.

Each week, we serve over 940 individuals with our Lifeline Groceries and Urban Farm Stand programming

In 2024, we’ve

  • Distributed over 11,000 Lifeline Grocery boxes

  • Served 48,880 Queens residents

  • Launched the first-ever Urban Farm Stand at Queensbridge Houses

  • Launched a new Community Food Hub with Seed+Oil in Woodside

  • Deepened our farm partnerships to increase our spending to over $230K with Black and Latino farmers

Help us build a movement!

Investing in our communities is crucial to building the world we want to see despite what’s around us.

This #GivingTuesday, December 3rd, we aim to raise $25,000 to continue serving families in Queens.

In 2025, we want to:

- Bring 50-100 families off our waitlist

- Open our very own distribution warehouse and storefront

- Continue to bring fresh produce to 940 individuals weekly

- Build a resource network to ensure our community has job training and placement, language, and housing resources.

At Connected Chef, we believe access to healthy, fresh food is a right—not a privilege. From our Urban Farm Stands to our food justice education and Lifeline Groceries produce deliveries, every dollar you donate brings power to our community, creates resilience & supports a more equitable food system.

When you donate to Connected Chef, you’re money goes right to these amazing farmers.
