Dignified Food Access

Founded upon the principles of mutual aid, Connected Chef is a community-led non-profit distributing affordable local groceries to families in Queens, NY. Seasonal produce sourced from BIPOC-owned farms and pantry items are available for delivery and pick-up on a self-reported sliding scale.

What's in each grocery package?

The produce in each Lifeline Grocery box varies based on seasonality and what is available with our local producers and distributors. We source 60-90% of each box from tri-state area, BIPOC-owned farms.

Weekly your box will consist of:

  • 80% Vegetables

  • 20% Fruits

  • 1lb of Grains or legumes
